At Corobis, privacy isn't a feature; it's our foundation. This policy explains how we handle data across our website and our ecosystem of mobile applications, including Secure SMS, VeilChat, Posni Recepti, and ProtestCountr.

2. App-Specific Data Handling

VeilChat

Our most private messenger. E2EE ensures only you and the recipient see messages. We store messages only for delivery; they are permanently purged 1 hour after successful delivery. No email or phone is collected.

Secure SMS

All encrypted content is stored locally on your hardware. We collect basic crash reports to fix bugs and ad-identifiers to serve advertisements in the free version.

ProtestCountr

This app collects location data specifically when you log your attendance at a gathering. This data is used solely for aggregating accurate crowd counts.

Posni Recepti

Minimal data collection including crash reports and basic usage metrics. Uses ad-identifiers for monetization.

Finance Duo

To provide cross-device synchronization (Web, Android, iOS), Finance Duo collects and stores:

  • Transaction data (amounts, dates, categories)
  • Account balances and currency preferences
  • Authentication credentials (to secure your data access)

Note: Your financial data is used exclusively for providing the service and is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in Europe), you have the right to access, delete, or export your personal data. Since many of our apps don't require accounts, "deleting your data" often simply means uninstalling the app, which wipes local keys and storage.
